Basis of the Basics of a Basshound
Painted to Basshound at Zinc Restaurant in Charlottesville, VA on 09/13/08. I painted the molecular structure for zinc as a basis for the painting, then the dog appeared and had to be playing, of course, a bass. This painting is featured prominently on the band’s Facebook and Myspace pages. My friend’s bday was that weekend, so I wrote Happy Birthday on the painting.

Painted live over the course of three days for the Evolve 2012 festival in Augusta, NJ: an event focused on the human creative spirit and raising universal consciousness to higher levels through peace, love, music and visionary art: summer 2008. This piece was originally created on a 8 foot x 8 foot plywood surface, and it “evolved” over the course of the weekend.
