CALENDAR OF EVENTS
THE GOOD GNUS
Crazyredbeard Productions has linked up with the Ambient Artists Underground to fight the forces intent on living in a colorless world. We’re located at 414 East Main Street, on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, VA, beneath Eppies and the Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar. We’re currently organizing the space to best suit our needs of artistry and show. Please feel free to stop by if you find yourself in the area, or call 434-974-6634 to set up an appointment with me to view the works or inquire about a particular piece.
UPCOMING EVENTS: STRANGECREEK 2007: It’s confirmed. I’ll be painting with the Breadbox Band again at my second Strangecreek. We’ve got a few special things in store for everyone, so BBB on the lookout. The guys are going to shake that cabin’s foundation. Here’s a shot from last year of me painting with BBB…

Looking forward to seeing everyone over Memorial Day weekend!

LATEST LIVE PAINTINGS and OTHER ASSORTED WORKS:
05/12/07: Wow. What a month….here’s the rundown of the latter half of April and early May. After the Robert Randolph show in Charlottesville, a few things fell into cosmic alignment and I was able to paint for the second and third time with spaceporn jam powerhouse Particle, first at the State Theater in Falls Church, Virginia on 04/21/07 which yielded this piece: Plan B From Outer Space: Aqua Boy Escapes Control.

Here’s a shot of the painting at the show…check the gallery section for more photos. I’ll be uploading new material as soon as I can. Much love to my Northern VA peeps, Beezwaxxx, Ben Combe from Particle and Natalie. Rachel, Joe, Adam? Mad love. Mad love.

This paved the way for the next night…a private party at the Duke of Earl’s backyard in Tabernacle, NJ. This was a particularly cosmic and spiritual Earthday for me and I thank every last person invloved. Earl…thanks for hosting such an intimate Particle throwdown. I truly felt connected on every level that night and I hope the painting is any indication of all of the elements that comprised the evening. Here’s what was channeled…a painting I’ve decided to call The Eye of the Storm.

Again…more pics coming from the day. Stay tuned.
Cinqo de Mayo found The Kindred Family Tree at Snipes Farm for our first attempt at vending together and for a season opening one-day festival, headlined by the Breadbox Band. The Kindred Family Tree is comprised of Britt Nemeth, Taraleigh Silberberg, Erica V. Anderson and myself. Britt is a photographer and health consultant, while Taraleigh makes her own line of baby clothing and other crafty works. She and Erica both are holistic health counselors and Erica is also a massage therapist that offers a variety of healthy services. And me? I’m the guy with the art and paint all over his clothes and hands.
It was another special moment for me with the Box boys. I love painting with them and being on stage at Bucks was certainly a different experience. I felt honored to share that creative space with them and hope that everyone enjoyed the evening as much as I did. Life in the circus…
…the next day in Washington Square Park with Buzz Universe was something amazing, too. The weather, the people, the music…perfect.
And this past weekend? U-Melt in Philly, 05/11/07 @ the North Star. Life is good. I’m tired. More updating tomorrow.
PEACE *** LOVE *** LIGHT
Coming soon…how U-Melt is poised to take over the world, one show at a time (also: why I think that U-Melt will carry on the Phish mantle well into the turn of the decade). Breadbox Band highlights and photos, Buzz Universe in Washington Square Park and a phling in Philly with the pham. Namaste guys!!
