03/01/07: The great begin. The center of the compass. The point of all omnijectivity, centered in a love for things visual, surreal, visionary, expansive, community-based and sharing oriented. This is the culmination of many singular moments and varied events, often centered around live music and the experiences that the jamband/experimental scene has lent. The people, the sights, the lights, the smells, bottles, clothes, hip swagger dance out loud things and love vibe extrodinary… it’s all there, interpreted in scribbles, frenetic line work, jostled curvature, open ended question(brush)marks…
Thanks for coming along. It can only get better from here.
Please bear with us as we continue to add a veritable bounty of content to the site, including pictures, road journals and more and more artwork. As more pieces are added, don’t hesitate to write and suggest we print your favorite. Your opinions matter! After all, YOU are the experience, viewing yourself….
As it stands, we’re working out pricing logistics for different sizes and styles of prints. Rest assured that if you’ve seen a painting develop at a show, I WILL make prints of it. In fact, full size giclee prints on canvas in limited numbers will be available of some of the more special moments we’ve shared. For now, please take a look at the two matted prints we have available. Each one is hand crafted and stamped with a unique insignia on the back. For starters, we’re serving up the first painting I transduced last year: The Coalescing of the Star of David, painted to U-Melt for Phanphest’s Cabin Fever. Also, check out The Conduit, which was inspired by a Halloween Biscuits throw down on the right side of the Traxx in Charlottesville, VA.
More to come. Look for me at The Breadbox Band’s CD Release party this weekend at Mexicali Blues in Teaneck, NJ. Buzz Universe and Unexplained Bacon open. Music! Live painting! Friends! Suprise guests! LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I’ll have another print available after the weekend. It’s a past BBB painting, but it’s a suprise for the full moon cd release. Once it’s unveiled, I’ll post it.
